Job Summary

At Benchmark Electronics, we are seeking a skilled PCB Assembler II to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling and modifying electronic components, subassemblies, and systems according to specific instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and follow assembly prints, work instructions, drawings, procedures, and specifications used in the manufacturing of PCBs.
  • Identify workmanship and material defects in touch-up and assembly areas and suggest basic changes to improve operations.
  • Perform tasks with high care and attention to detail while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assemble electronic components, assemblies, and modules from samples, visual aids, wiring lists, and process sheets.
  • Maintain accurate material control within the work area.
  • Perform inspection of own work in the immediate working unit.
  • Participate in providing timely feedback to other operations, management, and support engineering.
  • Follow and maintain accurate process documentation.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in hardware and/or simple optics assembly type activities.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
  • Ability to use hand tools and associated devices to manufacture PCBs and other electronic assemblies.
  • Ability to learn and master all tasks associated with PCB assembly.
  • Ability to identify electronic components and solder non-conformance.
