Benchmark Electronics is a leading provider of comprehensive solutions across the entire product lifecycle. We are seeking a skilled Senior Assembly Technician to join our team in Rochester, MN.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare products for systems-level assembly, including unpacking, setup, assembly, final packaging, and repair as required.
- Access and verify paperwork and drawings for each job assignment, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Use manufacturing routings and process instructions under close supervision to assemble a variety of systems integration subassemblies.
- Notify leadership of any shutdown situations and enter data into the Process Feedback System (PFS) and link subassemblies to final units.
- Collaborate with Design Engineering and Product Engineering on prototype and pre-production builds, working on complex assemblies and analyzing problems in manufacturing to recommend solutions to engineering.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; 3+ years of heavy mechanical assembly and SI repair of large and/or complex systems build; 3+ years of experience mentoring others.
- Effective interpersonal skills, discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism when representing the company.
- Ability to work overtime as needed and support a 24/7 global business operation.
