Benchmark Electronics is seeking a skilled PCB Assembler III to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling and modifying electronic components, subassemblies, and systems according to specific instructions.
Key Responsibilities:- Read and follow assembly prints, work instructions, drawings, procedures, and specifications used in the manufacturing of PCBs.
- Identify workmanship and material defects in touch-up and assembly areas and suggest basic changes to improve operations.
- Perform tasks with high care and attention to detail while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Assemble electronic components, assemblies, and modules by working from samples, visual aids, wiring lists, and process sheets.
- Maintain accurate material control within the work area.
- Perform inspection of own work and provide timely feedback to other operations, management, and support engineering.
- Follow and maintain accurate process documentation.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of specialized/more complex PCB and/or Optics assembly experience.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
- Ability to use hand tools and associated devices to manufacture PCBs and other electronic assemblies.
- Ability to learn and master all tasks associated with PCB assembly.
