As a Legal Assistant, you will provide essential support to the Senior Legal Counsel in various legal matters, including the management of intellectual property portfolios, litigation processes, and contract administration, in addition to offering general administrative assistance to the worldwide legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transactional legal assistance involving:
    • Drafting, negotiating, and managing various contracts
    • Maintaining standard legal templates for all global entities
    • Overseeing compliance with state and federal licensing requirements
    • Facilitating invention disclosures and managing patent and trademark applications
    • Coordinating Ovivo's global intellectual property portfolio
  • Dispute and litigation support, including:
    • Coordinating information flow between Ovivo's in-house legal team, external counsel, and operational groups regarding ongoing and potential litigation
    • Preparing and maintaining quarterly Litigation Reports
  • Delivering prompt internal and external customer service
  • Contract administration, including reviewing and negotiating project proposals and purchase orders
  • Adhering to established safety protocols in all tasks
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by the Senior Legal Counsel

Are You the Right Fit?

  • High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a legal assistant or paralegal
