Job Title: Project Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to join our team at McShane Construction Company. As a Project Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, from pre-construction to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and coordinate construction documents, including architectural, structural, mechanical, civil, electrical, and landscaping plans.
  • Manage and maintain the jobsite, including trailer, signage, material staging, vehicle access, and temporary utility access.
  • Oversee the implementation of safety measures and applicable company programs to ensure a safe workplace.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, focusing on identifying the critical path necessary to meet the owner's desired schedule.
  • Conduct periodic project inspections, with attention focused on owner's concerns.
  • Monitor project labor productivity and keep the company informed of any deviations from the original budgets.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in construction, preferably in multi-family construction, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, and concrete experience.
  • College education a plus.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods, etc.).
  • Strong leadership/management skills and a proven record of building on schedule.
  • Ability to identify, investigate, and quantify project problems and corresponding alternatives and consequences.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, and work productively with others and foster solid client relationships.
