Job Overview

This is a senior-level management position overseeing the day-to-day operations of a food service location at a university campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing business solutions to meet customer needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and implement operational strategies to drive business growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase profitability.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of food service professionals to ensure excellent customer service, quality food preparation, and a safe working environment.
  • Financial Management: Analyze financial data, develop and manage budgets, and implement cost-saving initiatives to achieve business targets.
  • Customer Service: Foster strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and develop solutions to meet their expectations.
  • Inventory Management
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage inventory levels, negotiate with suppliers, and implement efficient supply chain processes to minimize costs and maximize quality.
  • Quality Control: Ensure high-quality food preparation, presentation, and service standards are maintained at all times.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Experience: At least 4 years of experience in a management role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform other physical demands of the job.
