About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Checkers & Rally's. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the General Manager in executing the restaurant plan, achieving sales and profit goals, and providing excellent Guest and Team service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations: Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Sales and Profit Growth: Contribute to the development and implementation of sales and profit growth strategies, including promoting Guest satisfaction and managing restaurant operations.
  • Team Management: Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training of Team Members, as well as providing regular feedback and coaching to ensure high performance standards.
  • Guest Service: Ensure that Guests receive exceptional service, including responding to complaints and policy and procedure violations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Restaurant Maintenance: Help maintain a safe, clean, and fun environment for employees and Guests, including ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) - Preferred
  • Experience: 1-2 years restaurant management experience, preferably in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR)
  • Skills: Basic math skills, Microsoft Office, and general systems experience
  • Personal Qualities: Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communications skills, ability to work flexible schedule and extended hours, high energy to keep up with our fast-paced environment
