Reporting directly to the VP of Accounting, who possesses a robust background in public accounting, including experience as a Senior Manager at a prestigious firm, you will also benefit from the mentorship of the CFO, who has a distinguished career in Investment Banking and Private Equity. This collaborative environment is designed to support your professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, inventory management, payroll, and month-end closing activities.
  • Enhance and ensure accuracy in financial reporting, achieving a 98% compliance rate with GAAP standards, and prepare for audits.
  • Effectively manage cash flow through the implementation of strong internal controls.
  • Supervise comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and general ledger reviews.
  • Facilitate the integration of acquisitions into existing accounting frameworks.
  • Establish and monitor internal controls, collaborate with external auditors, and assist in financial planning.
  • Lead strategic initiatives and process enhancements, prepare analytical reports, and manage various special projects.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with a preference for public accounting background.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; a master's degree is advantageous. Active CPA license is preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of U.S. GAAP accounting principles.
Desired Experience:
  • Demonstrated leadership in accounting operations.
  • Experience in team development and organizational management.
  • Familiarity with Sage Intacct and ERP system implementations is a plus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership capabilities.
