About the Role:

MV Transportation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Maintenance Special Projects Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Fleet Maintenance leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing key fleet maintenance projects, ensuring fleet operations align with company standards and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead special projects related to fleet maintenance, including vehicle acquisition, lifecycle management, and fleet technology integration.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to implement projects, including maintenance, operations, procurement, and external vendors.
  • Identify opportunities to improve fleet maintenance processes, reduce downtime, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure fleet operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including DOT, OSHA, and EPA standards.
  • Manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers for fleet maintenance parts, services, and equipment.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure cost-effective use of resources.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Transportation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in fleet maintenance, project management, or transportation services.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale fleet or maintenance projects.
  • Experience with fleet management systems, vehicle maintenance scheduling, and compliance with transportation regulations.
