Job Summary

Asplundh is seeking a highly skilled Corporate EHS Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and evaluate data from EHS programs to identify and mitigate hazards in the work environment.
  • Develop and implement action plans to control health risks and hazards to all employees.
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to other employees to ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local regulations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify learning and development gaps and develop solutions to foster employee growth and development.
  • Develop and maintain EHS manuals and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial related work experience in industrial hygiene, environmental management, or safety.
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Management, Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene, or other equivalent technical field.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Up to 75% travel required.
Physical Requirements
  • Rarely: kneeling, squatting, crawling, climbing, lifting over 10 lbs. to 50 lbs., depth perception, color vision, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, balancing, lifting up to 10 lbs., lifting up to 50 lbs.
