Role SummaryThe Construction Support Specialist plays a vital role in advancing the company’s mission by actively engaging in various tasks related to underground and above-ground pipe installation, concrete forming, heavy equipment operation, and process equipment setup.
Key Responsibilities- Pipe Installation: Engage in basic pipe installation tasks such as bolting, gluing, measuring, and cutting. Ensure proper alignment and leak testing of pipes.
- Tool Operation: Utilize a range of power tools and gas equipment effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
- Support Installation: Secure pipes using clamps and brackets, identifying the appropriate materials for each task.
- Process Equipment Setup: Install and align process equipment, ensuring all necessary tools are prepared for the job.
- Miscellaneous Metal Work: Carry out installations of various metals including handrails and supports, preparing materials beforehand.
- Site Preparation: Conduct site work including excavation and grading, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Basic Layout Skills: Mark cutting and assembly lines accurately, demonstrating an understanding of construction principles.
- Formwork Construction: Build forms for concrete pouring as directed, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
