Air Quality Electronics Technician II

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Technician II - Air Quality to join our team at the State of Hawaii. As an Electronics Technician II - Air Quality, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electronic air quality monitoring equipment, including spectrophotometers, carbon monoxide analyzers, and nitric oxide-nitrogen dioxide analyzers. You will also be responsible for calibrating and testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair electronic air quality monitoring equipment, including spectrophotometers, carbon monoxide analyzers, and nitric oxide-nitrogen dioxide analyzers.
- Calibrate and test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical issues.
- Develop and implement procedures for maintaining and repairing equipment.
- Two years of technical experience in electronics or a related field.
- One year of experience in maintaining and repairing electronic air quality monitoring equipment.
- Knowledge of electronics principles and ability to apply them to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Ability to read and apply manufacturers' specifications, troubleshooting guides, and electronics schematics.
- Ability to use standard tools and test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
- Experience with spectrophotometers, carbon monoxide analyzers, and nitric oxide-nitrogen dioxide analyzers.
- Knowledge of trigonometry and ability to apply it to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Supervisory experience or aptitude.
