JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Telecommunications Engineer is responsible for delivering solutions and providing support for the organization while ensuring the optimal functionality of all telecommunications, Cisco VoIP, and Webex systems within a global framework.
In this role, the Senior Telecommunications Engineer will:- Facilitate support for global user transitions, including moves, additions, changes, deletions, and repairs as necessary;
- Aid in the installation, configuration, maintenance, capacity planning, and upgrades of all telecommunications and Cisco VoIP/Webex systems;
- Offer project support, technical assistance, and vendor escalation as required to maintain the telecommunications and Cisco VoIP/Webex environment;
- Execute VoIP router and VoIP/UC server configuration and troubleshooting for the telecommunications and Cisco VoIP/Webex network;
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute technical documentation for all assigned systems and projects, encompassing processes, procedures, troubleshooting, system design, training, and change management using tools such as Atlassian Confluence, MS Visio, Word, and Excel formats;
- Be available for overtime as necessary, which may include weekend, month-end, or year-end support; and
- Manage additional or related projects as assigned.
Proficiencies:
- Strong experience in migrating Cisco UCM on-premise to Webex Cloud Calling Dedicated Instance is highly preferred;
- Expert-level proficiency in supporting and maintaining Cisco unified communication platforms and associated voice over internet protocol applications (VoIP, Cisco UCM, CUPS, Unity Connection, Expressway, Jabber, and Webex Cloud Calling);
- Proficient in installing, supporting, and maintaining ATT IPLEX/BVoIP SIP Trunks;
- Skilled in configuring and maintaining Cisco voice gateways, CUBE, and SBC routers, specifically model 44xx and 83xx Series ISR;
- Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, fax server software/FoIP (OpenText / Rightfax); and
- Strong understanding of LAN and WAN network design, engineering, and management (LAN/WAN, MPLS, VPN, VLAN, SDWAN).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience in Telecommunications, Cisco VoIP, and Webex Cloud Calling Product Support;
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in telecommunications and Cisco VoIP and Webex cloud calling within a global context;
- Cisco voice network certifications or equivalent work experience (CCNA, CCNP, CCVP, CCIE) preferred; and
- Microsoft system certifications (MCP, MCSE) are a plus.

The expected salary range for this position is a minimum of $103,300 and a maximum of $149,600 annually.
Actual compensation may vary based on experience or other relevant factors. A comprehensive benefits package will also be included, offering 401k matching, medical, dental, vision coverage, and more.Pay Details: $110,000.00 to $145,000.00 per year
