Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Audit Specialist to join our team at Midland Credit Management. Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Create project plans, track and monitor results, prepare status reports, facilitate project meetings, and escalate risks to ensure successful completion of audit projects.
  • Audit Response: Develop written narratives and compile supplemental information to address audit-related inquiries, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Compliance: Analyze internal and external audit requests, research previous response approaches, and develop appropriate response strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Data Analysis: Obtain required data points needed for audits and account-level testing, and review for accuracy to ensure data integrity.
  • Communication: Pull and proofread communication content, such as emails and letters, to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct detailed root cause analysis, identify and investigate irregularities, and develop a complete understanding of all nuances.
  • Reporting: Develop recommendations and reports based on audit findings and present to senior stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evolve the overarching program that supports these activities, including Standard Operating Procedure, process flows, responsibility assignments, and operational reference tools.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics.
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant business experience in process or program management.
  • Skills: Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, and Visio; strong presentation skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong problem-solving, deduction, and critical thinking skills; and strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Master's or Advanced degree.
  • Experience: Experience with ADA, FCRA, FDCPA, EFTA, TCPA, GLBA, SCRA, UDAAP, particularly as applied to debt servicing and collections.
  • Skills: SQL querying experience; prior success conducting external or internal audits; prior project management experience; and knowledge of compliance requirements.
