Position Overview

The Concessions Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing the effective management and operation of concessions within a designated area. This position demands a high level of event supervision, technical skill, and operational support to guarantee the seamless execution of events. The individual must demonstrate exceptional attendance and be prepared to work extended hours as required by business needs. Our organizational culture is built on teamwork, passion, integrity, diversity, and excellence. This is a part-time role.

Compensation for this position ranges from $17.50 to $18.50 per hour, plus tips.

Benefits for Part-Time Roles: 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions. Additionally, part-time, seasonal, and internship employees accrue one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours annually.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Concessions Operations Manager and Concessions Manager in event preparations.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures for events.
  • Supervise the staff, including Concession Stand Leads, Warehouse personnel, Cashiers, and Non-Profits, addressing performance issues in accordance with company policies.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including the management of inventory transport as necessary.
  • Deliver a high level of operational oversight and expertise to ensure efficient and profitable event execution.
  • Be prepared to fill any open position to maintain operational standards and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all concession locations, including layout, equipment, emergency procedures, and access points.
  • Provide guidance and support to Concession Stand Managers, Warehouse staff, Cashiers, and Non-Profits.
  • Ensure compliance with all OVG Hospitality and Colorado State University policies, including alcohol service regulations, food safety guidelines, and general safety protocols. Report any compliance issues to the Concessions Manager promptly.
  • Exhibit a proven track record of excellent attendance.
