Rising Star Resource Development Corporation is a private non-profit organization that provides rehabilitation services to individuals with disabilities and veterans. We are seeking an experienced and hard-working Grounds Maintenance Field Supervisor to join our team of professionals.

Job Summary

The Grounds Maintenance Field Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of workers engaged in cutting, edging, and maintaining industrial settings such as government facilities and military installations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance, landscaping, and equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Job Site Safety: Enforce compliance with Federal regulations and ensure a safe working environment for employees.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and supplies are available for assigned work.
  • Timekeeping and Scheduling: Monitor employee timekeeping and arrange work schedules for assigned rotation staff members.
  • Supervision and Training: Supervise cleaning crew, including building and training teams, counseling, and coaching employees.
  • Problem-Solving and Quality Control: Resolve problems and discrepancies on jobs, conduct quality control checks, and interact with clients to amend issues.
  • Operational Support: Provide operational support to Leads/Team when necessary.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews, rewarding and disciplining employees via Coach and Counsel statements.
  • Team Growth: Perform other team growth duties as assigned, working closely with key organization leadership.
Requirements
  • Proficient Supervisory Experience: The Grounds Maintenance Field Supervisor must have proficient supervisory experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of MS Suite of Products (MS Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.), timekeeping via company custom Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and timekeeping system.
  • Landscaping Skills: Proficient in landscaping skills and use of industry equipment.
  • Qualitative Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication and multitasking skills are a must.
Work Environment

The Grounds Maintenance Field Supervisor will work in a fast-paced industrial setting, maintaining grounds and landscaping for government facilities and military installations.

Compensation

This is an hourly position, with a wage range of $18.00 per hour.
