We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Operations Specialist to join our team at Pyramid Consulting, Inc. in Malvern, PA.

Job Description

This is a 06+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and requires a talented individual to operate and maintain the utility plant, including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, reverse osmosis systems, and more.

The successful candidate will work a NIGHT SHIFT, 12 hour, rotating schedule of 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, etc., and will be required to work every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain utility plant equipment, including boilers, chillers, and cooling towers.
  • Interpret and respond to alarms, ensuring timely and accurate completion of corrective, emergency, and preventive maintenance.
  • Monitor equipment operating conditions, take logs, interpret log readings, and take action as needed.
  • Participate in cleaning, adjusting, testing, and performing preventive maintenance.
  • Identify issues and implement improvements with mentorship from shop leader and supervisor.
  • Perform repairs on equipment with limited mentorship.
  • Develop awareness of all departmental operations.
  • Ensure regulatory and job training remains current by promptly completing required training.
  • Participate in PM development and optimization.
  • Assist with Maintenance projects, including Root Cause Analysis, FMEA's, and Non-Conformance investigations.
  • Demonstrate willingness to learn new skills.
  • Use SCADA HMI for supervising and fixing equipment problems.
  • Perform general building maintenance, including plumbing and pipefitting.
  • Document all maintenance activities in CMMS.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of related industrial experience, including electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, instrumentation, and controls.

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, and certification in a Trade/Technical School or Military MOS/AFSC/A/C School Certificate of completion is accepted.

The employee must be mobile and able to independently transport themselves between various sites/locations, as guided by the essential functions and responsibilities of the position.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $25-$33 per hour, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave.
