Join Our Team as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Therapy 2000, a leading provider of home-based pediatric therapy services, is seeking a skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team in Northeast Houston, TX. This part-time or PRN position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations to identify patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with patients' caregivers to develop home exercise programs and ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Act as a vital member of the patients' medical neighborhoods, working closely with healthcare providers to deliver high-quality care.
  • Meet deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, and other paperwork requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.

Requirements:
  • A current/active license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience as a pediatric Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience in a home health setting or with feeding therapy or other clinical specialties.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) or proficiency in other languages.
