Join Our Team as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Therapy 2000, a leading provider of home-based pediatric therapy services, is seeking a skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Spring/Tomball/Klein area of Houston, TX.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations to determine patients' needs for therapy.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders.
  • Collaborate with patients' caregivers to develop home exercise programs.
  • Work as a vital member of patients' medical neighborhoods, coordinating care with various providers and disciplines.
  • Meet deadlines for patient chart updates, progress summaries, and other paperwork.
  • Participate in agency meetings to maintain understanding of expectations and standards for delivering high-quality patient care.

Requirements:
  • A current/active license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas.
  • An innovative spirit and a demonstrated history of reliability.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and needs.
  • Ability to use common workplace technology.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience as a pediatric Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience in a home health setting.
  • Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties.
