About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Avenue5 Residential, LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, providing exceptional customer service, and upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, as well as general carpentry and grounds maintenance.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify and address potential issues, ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents.
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner, providing clear communication and updates to residents and management.
  • Collaborate with maintenance leadership to prioritize tasks, manage work orders, and optimize maintenance schedules.
  • Participate in emergency response efforts, including snow removal, fire suppression, and flood response.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant trade experience or certifications a plus.
  • At least one year of experience in maintenance, property management, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, management, and other team members.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials, as well as work at heights and in confined spaces.
