Position Summary: The Licensed Commercial Service Plumber plays a crucial role in the installation, upkeep, and repair of plumbing and heating systems. The role involves both independent work and mentoring apprentices during routine maintenance and repair tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Licensed Plumber
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience
  • Ability to pass drug screening and background checks
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions
  • Proficient in managing plumbing emergencies with professionalism
  • Capability to complete projects independently
  • Skilled in using plumbing hand and power tools
  • Knowledgeable about building codes and safety regulations
  • Familiar with materials such as PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail with the capacity to multitask
  • Basic mathematical skills for measurement conversions
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and rough sketches
  • Experience with drain cleaning and video inspection equipment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional demeanor with clients and colleagues
  • Basic computer skills for job processing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Washington State Backflow or Medical Gas Certification
  • Experience with boiler systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install systems for transporting water, waste, gases, or liquids
  • Select appropriate materials for installation, repairs, and maintenance
  • Assemble and install piping using various methods including hangers, couplings, and soldering
  • Replace and install plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters
  • Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and site surveys as needed
  • Ensure all installations and repairs are properly aligned and supported
  • Oversee helpers and subcontractors
  • Coordinate with project managers on repairs and services
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities for processing.
