About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plumber Service Technician to join our team at Roto-Rooter. As a Plumber Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch sewer and drain service to our residential and commercial customers.



Our Plumber Service Technicians use their skills to provide solutions to plumbing and drain problems. A service call begins with diagnosing problems, then providing cost estimates to close the sale. You will unclog and clean sewers and drains for the customer using Roto-Rooter equipment and tools.



Responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing and resolving plumbing and drain issues
  • Providing cost estimates and closing sales
  • Unclogging and cleaning sewers and drains
  • Documenting estimates and invoices
  • Collecting payment and moving on to the next service call


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A mechanical aptitude is desirable, but prior plumbing experience is not necessary

  • A competitive hourly rate of $19.98 to $21.98 during training
  • Commissions ranging from $10 to $155 for selling products and treatments
