Job Summary

MedBridge Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) to join our team in providing sleep services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating tests, collecting data, and analyzing results to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct polysomnographic tests and collect data to diagnose sleep disorders
  • Prepare equipment, record activities, and analyze results to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Follow proper polysomnographic procedures, including the use of electrodes, sensors, and calibration of equipment
  • Analyze clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulate final data for further review
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and laws concerning safety control
Requirements
  • High School diploma or higher education level
  • Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program
  • Certified by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
  • Current BCLS certification
  • Certification in basic cardiac life support (BCLS) and/or CPR
  • Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required
Physical Demands
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit, talk and hear
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
