Position Summary:

We are a leading supplier in the manufacturing sector, specializing in high-quality chrome plating for automotive components. We are in search of dedicated production personnel who possess a strong work ethic and a collaborative spirit. Successful candidates will demonstrate physical stamina and attention to detail, as the role involves various manual tasks that can be taught through on-the-job training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chrome Plating Operations: You will be responsible for the loading and unloading of automotive bumpers onto the chrome plating conveyor system. This includes securing the bumpers for processing and ensuring they are properly transferred to the next stage. A steady pace is essential to maintain production flow, with each bumper weighing approximately 25-30 lbs.
  • Painting Duties: In this role, you will hang bumpers on conveyor belts for painting and perform manual touch-ups as necessary. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure all areas are properly coated. You will also be responsible for cleaning up any excess paint using appropriate materials.
  • Final Packaging: This is the last step before products are dispatched. You will ensure that bumpers are correctly labeled and packaged, which includes wrapping, boxing, and preparing for shipment. Each bumper, when boxed, will weigh about 35-40 lbs.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work in a paint shop environment.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Adherence to safety and quality standards is mandatory.
  • Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings is required.
  • Two forms of valid identification are necessary.
