Job Summary

This internship is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in the field of public administration and airport operations. The successful candidate will assist in various administrative and technical tasks, including research, data analysis, and project coordination.

Responsibilities
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence.
  • Assist in research and data analysis projects, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Support airport operations, including coordinating with airport staff, monitoring airport activities, and maintaining airport records.
  • Develop and implement projects to improve airport operations and customer service.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled as a junior or senior undergraduate student in aviation management, public administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.

Important Notes: Employees assigned to the Airports Department must successfully pass a thorough TSA background check, including fingerprinting. This position requires you to be at least 18 years old at the time you make application. This position will work no more than 29 hours per week.
