Job Summary

The Speech Language Pathologist Acute PRN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care by developing and conducting individualized therapy programs for patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing impairments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and establish appropriate treatment goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to improve communication abilities.
  • Evaluate patient progress regularly and adjust programs as needed to maximize patient progress.
  • Document progress in patient charts and complete necessary notes and charges.
  • Consult with Program Director and Rehab Physician/Medical Director regarding patient placement and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Texas Speech-Language Pathologist Audiology License.
  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
