Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at North Texas Therapy & Home Care. As a pediatric therapist, you will play a vital role in providing individualized care plans to our patients, enabling them to reach their highest potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled speech therapy services to patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders.
  • Define patients' degree and type of speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments.
  • Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
  • In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions.
  • Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
  • Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program.
  • May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University.
  • Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year, CCC-SLP.
  • License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
  • Experience in pediatrics required.
  • Home health experience preferred.
  • Feeding Experience a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
