Job Summary

Soliant Health is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY) to join our team. As a Clinical Fellow, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and make a positive impact on the lives of students with communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations to assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
  • Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address students' specific needs.
  • Therapy Services: Provide therapy services, including individual and group sessions, using evidence-based techniques and strategies.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to create and implement intervention strategies.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • IEP Meetings: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language goals and objectives.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with advances in the field of speech-language pathology and pursue professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Clinical Fellowship Eligibility: Eligibility for or possession of a Clinical Fellowship (CFY) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Licensure: TX state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and therapeutic interventions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and educational staff.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred.
