Required Education
High School Diploma/GEDShift Information
Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with potential for evening and weekend shifts as needed.Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients both in-person and via phone, managing inquiries with efficiency.
- Confirm client information through interviews, reviewing medical histories, taking vital signs, and clarifying the purpose of their visit.
- Provide education on medications and dietary guidelines, addressing questions and offering clear instructions.
- Accurately maintain records of patient assessments, treatments, and test outcomes.
- Document billing information for services rendered, complete insurance documentation, and respond to related inquiries.
- Communicate significant messages in writing to the healthcare team.
- Organize laboratory reports, highlighting urgent findings, and filing routine results in patient files.
- Process medication refill requests according to protocol, including obtaining necessary authorizations and coordinating with pharmacies.
- Ensure a safe and healthy workplace by following established standards, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Safeguard patient confidentiality and maintain operational integrity by securing sensitive information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; preference for Medical Assistant Certification.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence effectively.
- Capability to understand policy and procedure manuals and other relevant documentation.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license, access to an insured vehicle, and willingness to transport clients as necessary.
- Preferred: Proven ability to engage with diverse populations.
