Required Education

Shift Information

Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with potential for evening and weekend shifts as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist clients both in-person and via phone, managing inquiries with efficiency.
  • Confirm client information through interviews, reviewing medical histories, taking vital signs, and clarifying the purpose of their visit.
  • Provide education on medications and dietary guidelines, addressing questions and offering clear instructions.
  • Accurately maintain records of patient assessments, treatments, and test outcomes.
  • Document billing information for services rendered, complete insurance documentation, and respond to related inquiries.
  • Communicate significant messages in writing to the healthcare team.
  • Organize laboratory reports, highlighting urgent findings, and filing routine results in patient files.
  • Process medication refill requests according to protocol, including obtaining necessary authorizations and coordinating with pharmacies.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy workplace by following established standards, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Safeguard patient confidentiality and maintain operational integrity by securing sensitive information.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; preference for Medical Assistant Certification.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence effectively.
  • Capability to understand policy and procedure manuals and other relevant documentation.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license, access to an insured vehicle, and willingness to transport clients as necessary.
  • Preferred: Proven ability to engage with diverse populations.
