The individual in this role will act as the Deputy Chief Engineer for Biomedical Services, overseeing both the professional and administrative aspects of the Clinical Engineering Section within the Engineering Service.

Key Responsibilities

The incumbent will provide managerial support and technical guidance to the Chief Biomedical Engineer, ensuring the effective operation of the Biomedical Engineering program. Responsibilities include:

1. **Program Management**: Assist in budgeting and managing the Biomedical Engineering program while aligning with the overall goals of the organization.
2. **Personnel Management**: Facilitate organizational changes, manage personnel-related programs, and communicate policies effectively within the section.
3. **Consultation**: Serve as a consultant on Biomedical Engineering issues, assisting in the development of new policies and innovative strategies.
4. **Long-Range Planning**: Collaborate with senior management to create comprehensive plans for future needs and resource allocation.
5. **Project Management**: Lead special projects that have a significant impact on program operations, including conducting analyses and producing reports.

Work Schedule: Standard office hours.
