We are seeking a highly qualified faculty member to join our Transplant Surgery Section at the Medical College of Georgia (MCG) at Augusta University (AU). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical and educational services in the field of transplant surgery.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical care to patients undergoing transplant surgery
- Develop and implement educational programs for students and residents
- Conduct research in the field of transplant surgery
- Participate in departmental and institutional service activities
- MD/DO degree or equivalent
- Board certification in general surgery and transplant surgery
- Completion of an ASTS-accredited transplant surgery fellowship
- At least five years of clinical experience in transplant surgery
The rank and salary for this position will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience. The position is not considered to be on tenure track.
