About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Paul Davis of Piedmont, Triad West, & Mountain Regions, NC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and promoting our company's restoration services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify, pursue, and acquire new commercial clients through various sales techniques, including networking, cold calling, and referrals.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Lead Generation: Generate leads by building relationships with insurance carriers, agents, and adjusters.
  • Market Research: Identify and target new market opportunities, including potential clients and partnerships within the commercial sector.
  • Sales Performance: Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals by effectively promoting our company's restoration services.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and close deals to secure profitable business for the company.
  • Sales Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve targets.
  • Brand Representation: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Project Management: Work closely with project managers and restoration teams to ensure seamless transition from sales to project execution.
Other Responsibilities
  • Marketing Programs: Manage marketing programs and utilize technology software for CRM, email campaigns, and sales tracking.
  • Training and Development: Attend training courses and industry conferences to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Community Engagement: Coordinate community events, charitable activities, and Continuing Education courses to promote the company's values and mission.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the business owner, read weekly communications, and schedule consistent meetings with the Director of Sales and Marketing.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum three years of Business-to-Business sales experience, experience within the insurance industry preferred.
  • Education: Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications preferred.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of the commercial restoration industry, including services, processes, and market dynamics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders. Ability to meet sales goals, strategic thinking and planning, project management and multitasking capability, strong organizational skills, and strong computer skills- Microsoft Office and CRM Software.
