Role Overview:

We are on the lookout for a strategic and results-oriented Vice President of Strategic Partnerships to spearhead our outbound and inbound sales development initiatives. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, this pivotal role will enhance lead generation strategies, optimize conversion processes, and drive substantial sales growth. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in business development and sales leadership, demonstrating a proven track record of fostering growth and improving sales efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Development: Inspire and guide the outbound and inbound sales development teams to surpass targets. Implement training and professional development programs to elevate team performance.
  • Lead Generation Strategy: Formulate and execute comprehensive strategies to boost pipeline growth. Collaborate with Demand Generation teams to synchronize lead generation campaigns.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Enhance the lead-to-opportunity conversion process for maximum efficiency. Utilize CRM and sales tools effectively to track leads and make data-driven decisions.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate business development effectiveness. Present detailed reports on lead generation and sales outcomes to executive leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales organization to align strategies and ensure effective execution. Provide insights from business development efforts to inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the overarching sales and business development strategy, identifying new opportunities and market trends to drive growth.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in business development or sales development, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • B2B SaaS experience is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in enhancing lead generation and optimizing sales processes.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a knack for motivating diverse teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and sales tools.
