Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to patients with complex healthcare needs, prioritizing their safety, effectiveness, patient-centeredness, timeliness, efficiency, and equity.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, gynecologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
- Manage and coordinate Holter and cardiac event monitors, downloading data for physician review and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Support and facilitate patient education, promoting health maintenance, promotion, and restoration.
- Participate in on-site and telephone triage, utilizing best practice guidelines and documentation to ensure patients receive the right level of care in the right setting.
- Compile and maintain accurate records, reports, and data, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Act as a patient and healthcare advocate, promoting quality healthcare and services, and maintaining a safe environment.
- Current Registered Nurse Texas License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, Associate's degree in nursing, or diploma from an accredited nursing school
