About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Shoe Carnival. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding top talent for our corporate office, distribution center, and stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing and Recruitment: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top candidates for various roles within the company.
  • Candidate Management: Manage the entire candidate lifecycle, from initial contact to onboarding, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience.
  • Interviewing and Hiring: Conduct thorough interviews and make recommendations for hiring decisions, ensuring the best fit for the company and the role.
  • Onboarding and Orientation: Develop and deliver engaging onboarding programs to ensure new hires have a successful transition into the company.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Provide regular recruitment metrics and insights to inform business decisions and optimize recruitment strategies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of related HR/recruitment experience, with a strong background in project management, decision-making, and recruitment marketing.
  • Skills: Excellent interviewing, networking, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Certifications: SHRM-CP and/or other related certifications preferred.
