- Deliver services in a manner that fosters positive relationships with customers and Waste Connections employees.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with high call volumes while promoting additional services.
- Provide support at the reception desk as needed.
Work Environment:
The role is based in an in-person office setting that is clean, well-ventilated, and well-lit. Customer Service Representatives typically have their own workspace equipped with a telephone, headset, and computer. The call areas may be noisy, and the work can be repetitive and demanding, requiring excellent service delivery under pressure. Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use are common.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Customer Service or Call Center roles.
- Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and Email is preferred.
- Strong typing and 10-key skills are required.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Capability to analyze and resolve issues, gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
