If this resonates with you, we encourage you to explore this opportunity.

Founded in a modest garage in Pittsburgh's East Liberty in 1970, Aerotech has grown into a leading entity in the engineering and manufacturing of precision motion and automation solutions.
Today, from our headquarters in RIDC Park, O'Hara Township, we remain committed to innovation, driven by a team of makers, builders, and problem solvers.

At Aerotech, you will:

Contribute to industry advancements with precision motion technology in a clean, climate-controlled workspace, while enhancing your career through continuous paid on-the-job training.

Gain respect and opportunities for advancement within the organization, while enjoying competitive compensation, eligibility for annual merit increases, and a cash profit-sharing bonus every six months.

Benefit from Aerotech's commitment to employee retention, offering health benefits with affordable contributions, Paid Time Off, Parental Leave, a 401(k) plan, and participation in an Employee Stock Ownership Trust.

Position Overview:

The Technical Sales Specialist will carry out prospecting initiatives and provide internal sales support for a designated sales territory, collaborating closely with the Field Sales Engineer, Business Development Team, and Regional Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue potential new clients with the objective of converting them into sales opportunities by conducting research and pinpointing potential accounts, either independently or based on specific targets set by Aerotech's Business Development team.

Follow up on active leads generated through marketing efforts and assess whether to manage them directly or refer them to the appropriate Field Sales Engineer based on established criteria.

Provide sales support by answering product-related inquiries, offering initial pricing on standard products, and supplying lead time information for designated opportunities.

Generate quotations using Aerotech's dedicated quoting module or alternative specified methods for both self-generated opportunities and those initiated by Field Sales Engineers, as required.

Proactively identify opportunities for spare and replacement parts by reviewing past customer records, maintaining sole ownership of these opportunities and potential orders.

Minimum Qualifications:
