Position Overview
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist who will play a crucial role in building a strong talent pipeline. This position involves sourcing, selecting, screening, and interviewing candidates to meet the evolving needs of the Housing Authority and its affiliated non-profit organizations.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-caliber candidates through various platforms, including online networks, job boards, and local media.
- Review applications and identify qualified candidates, ensuring alignment with the agency's mission and values.
- Participate in the interview process by collaborating with hiring managers and conducting interviews.
- Work closely with hiring managers and HR staff during the offer process, advising on salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other relevant details.
- Conduct background checks and facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition for new hires.

Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of relevant recruiting experience.
- Valid California driver's license and insurability under the Housing Authority's insurance standards.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $30.72 per hour
- Regular full-time position with a 9/80 work schedule
- Non-exempt level position
- Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, PERS Retirement, Education Reimbursement, 457 Deferred Compensation Plan, Life Insurance, AD&D, 15 paid holidays, and accrual of vacation and sick leave.
