Job Overview

International Gourmet Foods Inc is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Culinary Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with customers, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales and Business Development
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including cold-calling and follow-up on leads and prospects
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to increase sales volume and market share
Account Management
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts, including maintaining accurate customer contact information and updating targets and sales performance
  • Stay up-to-date on customers' businesses and needs, including visiting customers in person to introduce new products and services
Contract Negotiation and Management
  • Negotiate and manage contract rates, terms, and payment arrangements with customers
  • Coordinate customers' contract terms and fees with Accounts Receivable to ensure payment and avoid lapses in service
Customer Service and Communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Effectively communicate with internal teams to resolve service issues and provide issue resolutions to customers
Requirements
  • A minimum of three years of experience in the hospitality or food industry
  • A proven track record of success in sales and customer service
  • Excellent communication, organization, and data-entry skills, with a keen focus on customer needs and relationship building
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with a proactive and quick-thinking approach to work
  • Strong attention to detail and solid written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Dynamics, Excel, Teams, and Word
Preferred Qualifications
  • Five or more years of experience in the hospitality or food industry
  • Bilingual communication skills
