Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with rotating Saturdays from 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM.

The primary responsibilities of this role encompass front desk operations and assisting technologists in delivering patient care. Your goal will be to ensure patient comfort and provide outstanding service while delivering precise and comprehensive information to patients, staff, ARC physicians, and referring doctors, thereby supporting the highest standards of compassionate care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients and visitors with kindness, empathy, and a strong commitment to exceptional service.
  • Engage with referring physicians, patients, and others via phone to provide information, respond to inquiries, schedule appointments, and facilitate follow-ups.
  • Accurately and efficiently complete the patient admission process.
  • Communicate and clarify exam preparations to patients, addressing any questions or concerns; seek assistance from technologists or physicians when necessary.
  • Collect and document patient copays as mandated by health insurance providers; ensure that cash and checks are processed in accordance with established protocols.
  • Assist technologists, patient care assistants, physicians, and other ARC personnel as needed.
  • Accurately scan documents.
  • Ensure timely delivery and action on incoming faxes.
  • Maintain records of all external reads; ensure timely communication of results.
  • Prepare and stock radiologic rooms; assist patients in getting on and off the examination table.
  • Availability for weekend shifts as part of a rotating schedule.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong typing skills are preferred.
  • Bi-lingual abilities are advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of anatomy and medical terminology.
  • Capability to assist patients with mobility on and off exam tables.

Educational Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Completion of a Medical Office Assistant Program is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
