Job Description

A Residential Real Estate Agent is a key player in facilitating housing transactions within their community. As a front-line representative of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England Properties, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the intricacies of the home sale and purchase process.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a driven, independent, and achievement-focused individual with a strong ability to network and communicate with hundreds of individuals. Your opportunistic and proactive attitude will enable you to navigate the autonomous nature of the career field and capitalize on opportunities to grow your client base.

As a Real Estate Professional, you will earn money for each transaction you complete, with the potential to earn $50,000 - $100,000 per year or more after a few years of disciplined work. Your success will be directly tied to your ability to establish a strong client base and provide exceptional service to your customers.

Regulatory Notice: While a real estate license is not required to apply, you must obtain a real estate license before officially being hired. To earn a real estate license, you will need to complete real estate classes (online or in-person) offered by an accredited learning institution and pass a state licensing exam. Our recruiting team will provide additional details on the real estate licensing process.

Job Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers via phone, email, social media, and in-person meetings to provide guidance and support throughout the real estate process.
  • Advise clients on the state of the local real estate market and provide expert insights to help them make informed decisions.
  • Answer questions about contracts, terms of sale, and other parts of the real estate process to ensure a smooth transaction.
  • Utilize computer technology to manage a database of customers and prospects, and proactively reach out to clients to initiate or follow-up on real estate transactions.
  • Manage marketing and advertising efforts through websites, mail-outs, and open houses to attract new clients and grow your business.
