About the Role

The Retail General Manager is a key leadership position at Pressed Juicery, responsible for overseeing the sales performance, guest experience, operations, hiring, and talent development of their store. Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales Growth: Exceed sales targets and plans, focusing on company sales growth and profitability through selling, teamwork, superior product knowledge, and impeccable guest experience.
  • Implement Active Selling: Implement active and engaged product selling and sampling in-store and at the sample carts throughout the day, ensuring team members are outside actively sampling when no guests are in the store.
  • Foster a Guest-Obsessed Culture: Foster a culture that prioritizes the guest experience and delivers on sales goals, overseeing the mystery shop and NPS programs to ensure a memorable guest experience in each location.
  • Manage Teams: Manage teams of hourly team members, interviewing, developing, coaching, evaluating, and retaining talent to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Business Reporting and Insights: Conduct business reporting and guest insights to understand, troubleshoot, and follow-up on opportunity areas, ensuring the store's P&L, KPIs, and inventory management are optimized.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the store's cleanliness, operational excellence, food safety, and handling, ensuring compliance with federal and local safety standards.
  • Scheduling and Labor Management: Maintain a schedule that aligns with guest and business needs, ensuring a presence in all dayparts, including weekends, early mornings, and evenings.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in retail or restaurant management, managing a team of at least 15 team members.
  • Knowledge and Interest: Knowledge and interest in health, fitness, and/or wellness, with the ability to build guest relationships and deliver exceptional service.
  • Adaptability and Communication: Ability to adapt and embrace new procedures, processes, and shifts to priorities, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in English.
  • Financial Management: Success managing a profit and loss statement or comparable financial reporting, with basic knowledge of MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
