About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Department Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating field employees, ensuring that our services meet or exceed customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule technicians to customer job sites and collect, finalize, and submit job details for processing
  • Maintain accurate schedules, ensuring technicians' tasks are up-to-date and open job tickets are correctly assigned
  • Analyze department reports to guarantee departmental performance meets customer expectations and commitments
  • Assist with billing paperwork and meet customer billing document requirements
  • Create and maintain service tickets to ensure timely service delivery
  • Collaborate with the estimating team to provide service quotes when required
  • Offer technical/mechanical support to field technicians as needed
  • Provide accurate work orders and picking lists to the warehouse for inventory management

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is a plus but not necessary
  • Background in the door industry is beneficial but not essential
  • Previous experience in dispatch or high-volume administration roles is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills and a focus on customer service are crucial
  • Strong time management skills, organization, and multitasking abilities are essential
  • Ability to represent the company professionally
