POSITION OVERVIEW:
Directs and oversees the lending and associated deposit/fee income functions of a team of Commercial Bankers, aligning with the bank's strategic objectives, credit ethos, and core principles. Provides support to direct reports with intricate account relationships and mentors less seasoned team members regarding credit policies and financing solutions. Authorizes credit exceeding the individual bankers' lending limits and/or guides the loan committee presentation process. Fosters, enhances, and sustains strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients. Mentors and develops bankers to generate new business opportunities and maintain/maximize current portfolios. Ensures adherence to credit quality standards and ongoing monitoring. Contributes to a unified staffing team within the region. Travels between various locations as required.
