Job Overview

Exchange Bank is seeking a highly skilled Electronic Banking Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our banking operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of our electronic banking services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide exceptional customer service support to branch staff, assisting with customer inquiries and research.
  2. Develop a deep understanding of electronic banking services, including rules and regulations, to ensure compliance and provide expert support to bank staff.
  3. Offer a full range of electronic banking application and general support to customers and bank personnel.
  4. Assist with investigation and logging of debit card disputes.
  5. Perform duties for all branch locations in areas such as ACH, wires, Visa debit card fraud, convenient cards, credit cards, and online services, including cash management, positive pay, merchant processing, and merchant capture.
  6. Follow defined bank procedures and assist in the development of processes within areas of responsibility.
  7. Reconcile internal accounts, as assigned.
  8. Review daily reports, as assigned, to ensure ongoing system integrity.
  9. Identify opportunities for product sales and cross-selling, and refer customers to relevant services.
Requirements
  1. Minimum educational and experience requirements: Associate's or Bachelor's degree or one to two years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education.
  2. Additional knowledge, skills, and abilities:
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Proven performance in problem-solving and maintaining/building customer relationships.
    • Working knowledge of accounting principles, banking principles, and bank reporting requirements.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Outlook.
    • Detail and deadline-oriented.
    • Software experience with FiServ Precision/Director, helpful.
  3. Licensure or certification: Professional ACH Certification beneficial but not required.
  4. Supervisory skills (if applicable): none.
