Perioperative Services Specialist

Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Perioperative Services Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the OR team, you will be responsible for delivering safe and effective patient-centered care in the Operating Room and other areas of perioperative services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with experience in both Circulator and Scrub roles. A graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with a BSN preferred, will be highly regarded.
Responsibilities- Prepare and provide sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment for operative or invasive procedures.
- Maintain the sterile field and anticipate and respond to the needs of the surgical team.
- Licensed in the State of Vermont.
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
- ACLS Certification required within 2 years of hire.
- CNOR Certification required within 3 years of hire.
- Demonstrated proficiency in acute-care nursing, knowledge, and skills.
- Demonstrated moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.
