Job Summary:

Rutland Regional Medical Center seeks a skilled Operating Room Nurse Specialist to deliver high-quality patient care in the OR and perioperative services.

Responsibilities:

The Operating Room Nurse Specialist will be responsible for preparing and providing sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment for operative procedures. They will also maintain a sterile field and respond to the needs of the surgical team.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
  • 1 year of experience in the OR, including both Circulator and Scrub roles
Licenses and Certifications:
  • Licensed in the State of Vermont
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association
  • ACLS Certification required within 2 years of hire
  • CNOR Certification required within 3 years of hire
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $34.52 - $58.40 per hour, based on industry standards and location. Rutland Regional Medical Center offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
