Job Title: ETL Informatica Power Center Developer

We are seeking an experienced ETL Informatica Power Center Developer to join our team at Edward Jones. As an ETL Informatica Power Center Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex ETL processes using Informatica Power Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop mappings and workflows to automate ETL processes using Informatica Power Center.
  • Acquire and integrate data from multiple data sources/technologies using Informatica Power Center for use by a Tableau data visualization object.
  • Design and develop complex Oracle SQL scripts that are fast and efficient.
  • Develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience as a system analyst for a data analytics, performance management system, or data warehousing project.
  • Develop technical writing and diagraming skills, including proficiency with modeling and mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Erwin), and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and MS Project.
  • Plan and deliver software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.
  • Develop scripts using Python.
  • Work on an agile sprint team.
  • Use JIRA software.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience developing ETL processes using Informatica Power Center.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience as a system analyst for a data analytics, performance management system, or data warehousing project.
  • Technical writing and diagraming skills, including proficiency with modeling and mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Erwin), and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and MS Project.
  • Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.
  • Experience developing scripts using Python.
  • Experience working on an agile sprint team.
  • Experience using JIRA software.
  • Proven ability to write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
  • Understanding of security principles and how they apply to healthcare data.
  • Experience with state-of-the-art software components for a performance metrics data visualization or business intelligence environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize conflicting assignments, and switch quickly between assignments, as required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in the Healthcare Industry.
  • Prior experience with an HHS agency.
  • Prior experience working with PII or PHI data.
  • Prior experience working with HL7 data.
  • Expertise and hands-on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and APIs.
  • Prior experience creating website/user interfaces by using standards HTML/CSS practices.
  • Functional knowledge or hands-on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.).
