Summary/Objective
The Guest Services Representative plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to guests, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience during their stay. This position involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs while maintaining a friendly demeanor and addressing service requests proficiently. Additionally, the representative is responsible for processing payments for services utilized throughout the guest's visit.

  • Engage with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain consistent attendance in accordance with Peachtree Hospitality Management standards, adapting to the hotel's scheduling needs.
  • Uphold high standards of appearance and grooming, including wearing a proper name tag while on duty.
  • Adhere to Peachtree Hospitality Management standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Provide attentive, friendly, courteous, and efficient hospitality at the Front Desk.
  • Facilitate guest check-ins and check-outs in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Verify credit and payment methods at check-in and ensure full payment is confirmed at check-out.
  • Document all requests and confirm their completion using the brand tracking tool.
  • Review room inventory and house count for availability and pricing.
  • Manage reservations for same-day arrivals or future stays.
  • Prepare and balance individual paperwork for shift closure.
  • Balance cash drawer daily.
  • Understand and maintain special guest programs and franchise-related initiatives, completing necessary brand training.
  • Conduct daily bank drops with a witness, adhering to established standards.
  • Generate daily arrival reports and highlight special requests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
  • Distribute packages and mail to guests or inform them of their receipt as needed.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the front desk system for all guest services.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Attend all training sessions and meetings as requested by management.
Competencies
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Capability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to perform well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Understanding of financial information and data, along with basic arithmetic skills.
Physical Demands
  • Long hours may be required.
  • Light work—exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.

Required Education and Experience
  • A High School Diploma or GED certificate is preferred, along with equivalent work experience.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality sector is preferred.
