Pacific Torque Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Engine Technician to join our team at Pacific Torque. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding natural gas and diesel engines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and Repair: Mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and air system failures on trucks and heavy equipment.
  • Engine Repair and Rebuilding: Repair, replace, and rebuild engines to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with fellow staff, supervisors, parts department, and customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Two or more years' experience in the diesel engine field is preferred but not required.
  • Tools and Equipment: Must own necessary tools and equipment for the job.
  • Driver's License and Safety Record: Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
